Pet care experience
I have cared for pups since I was in high school. I have stayed in family and friends' homes while they've been away, I have completed drop-in pet-visits, and so much more. I am a clean freak, so if your pup happens to have a "whoopsie" while you are away, I do not mind to clean up the accident at all. I am fit and active, so I love taking long walks with your fur baby! I am happy to provide references if needed.

Bonnie, my dog, has full freedom to roam around my apartment. If your dog stays with us for the evening, I have a crate available to use with no issue at all. I do not have a fenced backyard, but I am only a hop, skip, and jump away from walkways! Thus, long walks and outside time would not be an issue! I have vinyl flooring rather than carpet and always leave towels by the back door for muddy paw prints! Bonnie's food and water stays out throughout the day because she is a grazer. If your dog likes to eat all at once, this would not be an issue at all. If your dog is staying in my house, I only ask that he/she be potty trained, neutered/spayed, not food aggressive, and kind to Bonnie! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I can only accept a dog who gets along well with my dog, Bonnie. Please let me know about your dog's energy levels ahead of time. Bonnie is no longer a puppy, so she is content to just snooze the day away while I am busy. If your fur baby requires a little bit more attention, please don't hesitate to let me know -- I will be sure to account for this. I also ask that you detail their "normal" potty schedule and how often they eat (and if they can eat with another dog present.)
A typical day
I love to be outside and take breaks away from my computer. If your pet stays with me, your fur baby can look forward to at least 2-3 long walks with my dog. When we are inside, your pet can expect belly rubs and oodles of cuddle time on the couch. I also have an elevated dog bed and plenty of dog toys/treats that can keep your pup busy for a long while! Feel free to ask me any other questions at all!

Availability
I am a grad student, so my schedule offers a bit more flexibility this semester as opposed to a normal 9-5 job. I have a 3-year-old shepherd/lab mix named Bonnie. Bonnie loves other dogs so much, but I understand if you would like for me to drop-in to visit your fur baby alone... just let me know! Bonnie and I tend to go on at least 3 long walks/day, so I could easily fit this into my schedule with your dog, especially on days when I do not have to be on campus. My life has always revolved around my dogs' lives. Even as a little girl, we made sure that our dogs' never went a long while without getting to go outside. If you have any questions about my schedule, I would be happy to answer them!
