Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals for over 15 years now. I love all animals wholeheartedly. I have been a caretaker to dogs that have undergone invasive surgeries or have needed 24/7 care due to injuries. I have pet sitted for over five years. Every dog is a new friend for me. I love them as if they were my own. Currently, I have a border collie who is my best friend. He was with me all throughout college. I am experienced with different breeds - high activity or low activity! All are loved and welcome. I am experienced in oral medication application, wound care and healing, baths, and any other specialities your dog may need! All my care goes into making sure your furry friends feel comfortable and happy to continue their happy life! I am so excited to work together :)

Wow! We are so thankful and grateful we booked Isabel to watch our Banjo for our last trip. He got sick right before we were supposed to leave town and we were so stressed and worried knowing that we’d be leaving him in someone else’s care but Isabel was truly so amazing. We could not have asked for better care for Banjo. She gave him all of his medicine and provided daily updates and pictures! He was so happy and when we came back he was at 100%. Thank you Isabel for providing the best nurturing for our sweet guy, we can’t wait to work with her again in the future! Highly recommend!!

First and foremost, I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable. I work to gain their trust in the way that they best respond to. Some pets need me to sit at a slight distance for an hour or so to gain the confidence to trust me. Some jump on me right away. I enjoy all of it. Soothing any anxieties you and your pet may have is my top priority. I also can accommodate my activity to their specifications!

Let me know if your dog has any specific needs that need extra attention and care! I understand that sometimes traveling comes during stressful times, and having a dog with special needs can make some hesitate to give them care. Not me! I will love your furry friends as if they are mine and understand that different pets need different types of attention. Please share their feeding preferences, diet, potty schedule, activity level, and anything you think is important to know. I would love to know if they have any specific mannerisms if they usually mean anything so I can take care of them completely and wholeheartedly!
A typical day
One of my favorite activities is playing with dogs - of course catch is the most common, but I am also very well informed on mental stimulation games that allow our furry friends to exercise their brains. If your pet likes being around other dogs I absolutely love dog parks!

Availability
I work from my computer, therefore I can take breaks when I choose to. I incorporate three walks a day, depending on the abilities and needs of the dog. I can adjust to any feeding specifications and schedules!
