Fluff-lover seeks same!
Pet care experience
A dog has been on my xmas list every year since I was 6, and while my parents failed to indulge my fantasy (ahem), my love of fluff balls has remained strong! Moving logistics have made it hard for me to have a dog of my own, but I’ve been a rabbit and cat owner for about 7 years and an avid pet sitter for the last 2. Would love to take your pup on a stroll, spend some quality time at the dog run or hold down the fort while you’re out of town — I’m great company! I just moved to Palo Alto from Brooklyn, but I’ve been a dog park regular, and I have lots of experience walking and playing with dogs of all sizes. I’m also a trusted overnight sitter and have long lasting relationships with clients who know they can leave their pup in capable hands!

At home, my cat’s safety and comfort are top priority. Edna Fern is a bread fiend with a penchant for gnawing on plants, so we’ve had to go to great lengths to securely store all of the snacks and greenery out of her reach, but we’ve made sure she has access to scratching posts, cat nip distractions, and lots of cozy nap spots instead. I’ll be sure to bring the same care and consideration to your home! Keeping your pet safe and happy is the name of the game, and I can promise them my fullest attention in that regard.

How does your dog do with other people and other dogs? Are there any dietary restrictions I need to know about? What should I expect for their energy level and how long or far they feel comfortable walking?
A typical day
Dogs can expect to get up to all kinds of fun with me — we might go on an adventure in the park, play with a ball or frisbee, or meet up with some friends, depending how social we’re feeling! I’ll make sure your pet is engaged, well cared for, and getting in some good exercise while we’re at it.

Availability
I’m a full-time student with a flexible schedule — my afternoons, evenings, and weekends are totally open, and I can always try to fit in a walk earlier in the day if needed. Would be happy to set up a regular walking routine or be on call for one-off or longer term help!
