Pet care experience
I'm in Staunton with my family for the next few months after finishing a year teaching English in Spain! I am 26 years old with a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Spanish from Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC). I have experience with dog and house sitting over the past few years, as well as loads of personal experience taking care of my own dogs over the course of my life (beagle/basset and Labrador/pointer/Great Dane mix). I have my own car and can provide transport. I am a dog lover and spending time with/caring for dogs seems like a fantastic way to spend my free time. After many successful experiences working with Rover, I am confident that I will be able to take good care of your pet. Hope to meet you in the near future!

Isabel is fabulous. We've used her in the past and she came through again brilliantly. Our two cats seem to really like her and she did a great job in making sure they got the love and care they needed while we were out. Highly recommended.
Isabel responded very quickly to a last minute booking request, came over within a few hours, took notes, and then did a wonderful job looking out for my two cats over the holidays. She was very communicative, sent consistent pictures of my very demanding cat, and even got a few shots of my stealthy and people-avoidant one. Would absolutely book again!
Isabel provided the best care possible and communicated throughout her stay. Our dog was calm and happy when we returned!
Isabel helped us out last minute while on a trip to walk and play with our babies! They seemed to really love her by the pictures! 10/10 recommend her to take care of your fur babies.

I am happy to go to the client homes to housesit, take the pets on walks or just do standard drop-ins. I am unfortunately unable to board animals at my own place, however.

Name, breed, age, temperament, special needs, schedule (walking, feeding, sleeping and getting up in the morning). I also will not accept a booking until I have met the owner and dog first and made sure I can work in the space comfortably.
A typical day
I love to train dogs to do tricks and give them treats! I also have experience working as a dog trainer, either with loud and jumpy dogs or timid rescues. I love taking them all on walks to get them out there and make sure they are either behaving or are feeling comfortable outside. I also love having photo shoots with the dogs! I’ve gotten some really cute pictures over the years :)

Availability
I work part-time as a musician, meaning that I have a very flexible schedule. I am often free during traditional work hours, and I go out for 3-4 hours on some evenings to play music. Other than that, my schedule is wide open and I am excited to help out.
