Pet care experience
I'm a dog trainer in the Long Beach & greater Los Angeles Area. Growing up I had German Shepherds and my passion for training dogs skyrocketed when I adopted my German Shepherd, Guapo who struggled with hyper arousal & severe reactivity. He now has trialed in a couple of dog sports and did wonderfully! He taught me so much about patience and behavioral modification. I train dogs as my main professional but also do dog sitting and dog photography / videography.
Reviews
I would say use with caution. Her home does not have a door bell or way to alerting her that you have arrived. We had an incident that made me 20 minutes late for work to a career I really cannot be late for without it jeopardizing peoples lives, my fiance even more so. Aside from that, we did also notice that our dogs were not getting any steps for hours at a time (we have a collar that tracks everything from steps to time sleeping throughout the day/ strain and exertion throughout the day). My fiance witnessed her going to grab them from a pen/crate. We do not feel as though we need to pay to have our dogs crated when we can do that at home. We also noticed they would almost always immediately pee when outside of the house, as if she did not take them for potty breaks for awhile prior to pickup which is concerning. We believed that using Isabel as a consistent dog care person would be a great set up for our animals as she is almost always available during our long shifts, but after giving it a few chances, it seems it may be healthier and more beneficial to keep our dogs at home for the duration of our shift or find another sitter. Isabel has always been kind when we have spoken to her during drop off and pick up, but there are certain red flags we feel as though we cannot overlook.
Very flexible, patient and professional.
Isabel is amazing! She is extremely professional and accommodating. I highly recommend her and is my first choice.
Thanks for watching Jewels and introducing her to new friends!
