Pet care experience
I've taken care of my family's dogs since I was 10, and our 5 cats who were all fosters and became family since I was in high school. Growing up I also walked dogs with my mom at our local animal shelter. This required me to always be on my toes with a new dog and take time to get to know the dog's personality and learn what they respond to best. I am very patient with all animals and want to provide the best care for them by maintaining their routines and giving them love.

Isabel LOVES animals. She spent much of her childhood helping her mother care for foster cats and dogs as well as her family's own furry and feathered family members. She's a reliable, caring and empathetic person who can be trusted with your precious pets.
Isabel loves animals of all kinds. She is great with cats, dogs, and even chickens. Isabel has helped to foster kittens, even bottle-feeding them when they were very young. She is responsible and knowledgeable about animals, as well as thoughtful and caring. She truly loves all animals, and will take the time to give your pet the attention they need.

With my family's dog, Maggie, we have a fenced yard, but the minute I begin to walk Maggie the leash goes on. With Maggie we also have a routine feeding time of 6:30am and 5pm with walks right after. I love spending time with Maggie, so when I'm caring for her, there is lots of time playing fetch and usually an additional walk. This sort of routine is similar to what I follow when I've dog sat for friends, adjusting the time of feeding or frequency of walks to what their dog is used to. With my family's cats, we have a nightly wet food feeding routine around 5:00pm, with dry kibble and water always available to the cats. I scoop their litter box daily. For other cats I have cared for, I always follow exactly what my friends or clients request for feeding schedule and litterbox cleaning, with lots of time playing or petting the cats.

A typical day
I want to make sure your dogs are not just fed and walked while you're away, I want to be a companion for them. With your pet I can take them on multiple walks around Aspen or to nearby parks. If they like to play fetch or tug, I am more than happy to engage them in lots of play time, and of course lots of pets.

I'm currently working part-time, with lots of flexibility, so there is plenty of time for me to care for your creatures. I live right in downtown Aspen so it is easy and quick for me to get around.
