Missing my rescue pup
Pet care experience
My parents adopted a "pandemic puppy" in 2020, and I quickly became the go-to pet sitter during the day and on weekends when they were gone. He's an incredibly energetic and affectionate rescue named Shadow, and I love spending my days with him and letting him sniff to his heart's content on walks! I also had a cat named Grammy for over a decade in my childhood, after I begged my parents for months to adopt one. I miss the kitty snuggles and would love to pass them along to your fur baby. I have also dog-sat and cat-sat for other families in RI!

My apartment is not pet-friendly, unfortunately, but I have experience caring for dogs and cats in their own homes. I love knowing their favorite hang-out spots, toys, and treats so I can keep them happy! I will not allow dogs off-leash (unless there is a fully fenced-in and secure backyard) or cats outside while I am sitting.

For dogs, please let me know if they are reactive and/or if you allow your pet to greet other pets or humans. Do you play games like tug with your pet, or do you stick to fetch? If you are leash training, I’d also like to know how I can support you in that! For cats, let me know how social they are—will they want pets or play or to be left alone?
A typical day
I love to let the dogs I walk decide where to go and how long to sniff—within reason, of course! I will keep your pet safe. On severe-weather days or for longer stays, I like to put together treat puzzles, play hide and seek, and give your pup extra belly rubs.

Availability
I work 9-5 every weekday, but I work a hybrid schedule and am available some weekdays for midday walks. On work-from-home days, I am happy to stay with your pet during the day if I am provided with secure Wi-Fi and a working surface like a table or desk. My early mornings and evenings are often free, as are some weekends!
