Pet care experience
My family has taken care of dogs since I can remember. Neighbors and friends would rely on us to walk, feed, and play with their friends and naturally I was always eager to take on those tasks whenever there was a dog in our house. Since living in NYC, I have fostered for Korean K9 Rescue for a year and have loved every second of it. Although fostering always lasted at most 4 weeks, I've learned to help puppies and high-anxiety dogs to get comfortable with the busy streets of NYC.

Isabel did a great job watching our dog Charlie. She was very responsive and sent a lot of photos and videos (which we like). Charlie came home tired and happy.

I’ve known Isabel for more than 5 years now. She’s always been one of the most caring individuals that I know, but that has been even more prominent since I adopted my dog Ruby 6 months ago. Right when Isabel walks in the door, Ruby goes straight to give her hugs and kisses. Isabel clearly has a knack for caring for dogs and I’d trust her with my dog in any situation!

I live in a 2-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor (no elevator building) with a female roommate. I have my own dog crate if the dog is crate trained. I am very comfortable with basic care, play time, and walks.

A typical day
A typical day starts off with a morning walk, playing at home, lounging around together, and a longer walk in the afternoon. Astoria park is my favorite neighborhood park to go to.

Availability
I mostly work remotely and will enter my office once or twice a week which is only 15 minutes away. If I am actively taking care of a dog, I will adjust my schedule accordingly to make sure the dog is never alone for more than a few hours.
