Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Specifically border collies so I’m very comfortable with dogs that need a lot of attention and activity throughout the day.

I have known Isabel since she was 7 and seen firsthand her love of dogs. When I have foster puppies she is always there to help socialize and play with them. When my family is out of town she is here to take care of our dogs. Your dogs will be in good hands with Isabel!
Isabel took great care of our rabbit, Miles, while we were out of town for the week. He can be messy and isn't very independent, so Isabel stopped by frequently to interact with him, keep him fed, and keep his area clean. We would highly recommend Isabel as a sitter for any pet!
Great with any animal. Handled watching my chickens, cats, dogs, and ostrich with no problem. All were happy when I returned from my vacation and I will definitely be using Isabel to watch my pets again.
Isabel would be my first choice to take care of my collies, and she definitely is someone I would consider a “dog whisperer.” She is attentive, caring, and intuitively understands the needs of animals. Isabel will matriculate in May with a BS degree in Animal Science from VT.

No breed preferences! Just would like to know about temperament. I’ve watched all dogs and cats from puppies and kittens to blind/deaf senior dogs or cats that need a big more attention.
A typical day
I’m a very active person and love to get out every weekend for a hike, run, or neighborhood walk. For dogs, I’m happy to take them on short hikes or walks around the neighborhood. For cats, I’ll try my best to enrich them as much as they’re willing (cat people will understand :)

Availability
I work about 20 minutes away from Red Wing and typically get home around 3:30pm every day. I’m typically here in Red Wing on weekends and I keep my calendar updated otherwise. I’d be happy to do walks or drop in visits after work on weekdays and whenever needed on weekends!
