I cannot begin to say enough good things about Isabel. She is the first person I think of when I need a pet sitter. Isabel has been sitting for me since I moved to Portland 2 years ago, and my dogs and I absolutely adore her. There are so many reasons why she is the best; here are just a few: - Isabel genuinely loves the dogs she works with, and it shows. She sends the sweetest pictures and updates and is extremely responsive to all of my paranoid-dog-mom questions. - She is great with pups of all ages. I have a 15-year-old beagle, and a 7-month-old golden retriever, and she is sensitive to their individual needs. She is gentle with my old lady, and still finds a way to wear the puppy out. - When my last golden retriever developed cancer at the age of 14, Isabel willingly (and without being asked) carried him down and back up 3 flights of stairs to go potty in the last weeks of his life. I cannot ever thank her enough for being so compassionate and loving to him, especially during that difficult time. - Isabel is an extremely responsible and mature sitter. She has stayed in my house several times when I have traveled, and I am always impressed with how well she takes care of everything while I am gone. Plants are always watered, mail is brought in, the linens are stripped, and the house is in great condition. We give Isabel 11 stars out of 10, and are so grateful we found her. Having known Isabel for over two years and worked alongside her with dogs, I can confidently attest to the genuine passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm that she has for dogs.
