Walker/Sitter, for your fur family!
Pet care experience
I've house sat and walked the dogs and cats of my friend's and family (most at a time was 4 dogs from 15 lbs to 70 lbs). Weekend or week long responsibilities don't change, I make sure everyone is feed, played with, walked and watched to make sure my responsibilities (dogs/cats) are feeling as nurtured as if their family were still home. No one wants their furry family feeling lonely or ignored, so I try my best to treat them like family. I had a 65 lb German Shepard mix, Reiki (girl dog), that I had as my own (living situation changed and had to give her to a friend) that I trained and loved making sure she was getting out to walk or run around the backyard or neighborhood. I also had a tabby cat, Normis, in my childhood that I loved, she lived 16 years wonderful years across 3 states. I have a couple of family members whom I sporadically help with their dog and cat needs so I figured branching out and helping others would be a fulfilling opportunity.
Reviews
Irvin was an excellent pet sitter for our dog and two cats. We can’t board our dog because of his separation anxiety but had a week long trip so we had Irvin stay in our home. He was thorough when asking information needed from us before the stay. He sent us multiple pictures each day. We came home to a clean house and happy pets. We plan to use Irvin again in the future for any pet sitting needs and highly recommend him.
Irvin was amazing! He was awesome with our dogs and made us feel so comfortable while traveling. He provided excellent updates and pictures and was an amazing house guest! We would highly recommend Irvin!
Irvin took great care of my cat and dog. I got plenty of pictures and i returned home to tired pets and a tidy home. Excellent communication and was flexible when my schedule had me come home 12 hours early.
Irvin was incredible with Cinnamon. He made her feel welcomed and loved during my time away. He stayed at the house and kept me informed about Cinnamon. He displays a sense of pride and ownership with Cinnamon that I greatly appreciated. Thanks Irvin!

In general I ask a lot of questions about your pets and habits to make sure I'm keeping continuity with your pets daily activities. During walks I am focused on my pets I have a waist belt for dog walking to make sure your dog (or cat) is secure. I can walks specific routes that you and your pet are comfortable with. I am also comfortable with larger dogs 60lbs or more. I want to follow any reasonable and safe instructions that are pertinent to your pet. When house sitting I treat clients homes with respect and make sure to ask of any particular things to avoid in the home such as rooms that your pet should not enter. I make sure that your home as in the same state that you left it.
Information Irvin P. would like to know about your pet
Some of the more crucial information that I would like to know if the pet is or has been aggressive, bitten or attached anyone or has any triggers like touching its mouth/ears. If the pet has any injuries or physical restrictions. Any diet or allergies that can be are a NEED TO KNOW. I will only feed your pet what you already provide for them. If they are hard chewers and want to focus on them not nibbling on a toy too long for health and safety reasons. Any type of specific harness that your pet is accustom to (body harness vs collar leash).
A typical day
I like to take dogs on a route that they are most familiar with usually within the neighborhood they live in. I can take a dog to a dog park at the discretion of the owner(s). I like jogging or running with dogs if it's an active dog to make sure they are getting the physical movement they need. If I'm dog watching, I like to playing with any rope or ball toys, some simple commands with a treat reward (usually some of their kibble), playing hide and seek nothing too complicated, but to get them on the hunt. Fetch depends on the dog some times they just want to get chased around a bit.
