Seeking dog/cat caring gigs!❤️🐈🐕
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my family adopted from shelters (a very sweet Australian shepherd mix and a crazy but loving Jack Russell terrier mix) so have loved high-energy dogs from a young age! My mom has pretty bad arthritis so I’ve always been in charge of the bathing, playing/walking/running, and picking up after our dogs. My parents now have a 70 lb. labradoodle (best dog ever❤️) that I’ve cared for a few times when they’ve been out of town. I also have recent experience cat sitting my friends’ cat, which I loved! I like to run/walk in East Rock park, which also has a dog park where I could take your pup to play :) I also have a car and would be happy to drive to any other dog parks your dog prefers!
Reviews
Iris was great with our doggo! She even came over beforehand to do a meet and greet.

I’d prefer to care for dogs or cats in other people’s homes but am happy to care for them in our apartment upon request! I live in the first floor of a 3-story home with my partner of 7 years, who’s an emergency medicine resident at Yale New Haven Health. He also grew up with an Australian shepherd (something we bonded over early in our relationship hehe). We have an unfenced backyard and a pretty large floor plan, plenty of space for crates/dog beds/food/indoor or outdoor play. I’ve always let dogs and cats on my furniture, but happy to change that upon request!

Availability
I’m a registered nurse with 3-4 days off every week, so I’m seeking gigs to walk/care for dogs on my days off! My work schedule varies by week, but I’m totally free on my days off so could spend the whole day/night with your dog or cat :)
