*Fully Vaccinated home* *COVID-19 Precautions: Due to the pandemic I will only being doing Meet & Greets outside of my home its important that our pups meet to ensure they get along! In addition I can do a video call to give you a tour inside of where your pup will be staying.* I am a freelance designer and home full time. I had an almost 20 year old chihuahua that passed away in 2019. I am very aware of the ins and outs of caring for an elderly dog and how much attention they need. He was my first fur baby and I missed having a companion so I adopted Lolita shortly after. She is super sweet and energetic but has a definite chill side. She gets along well with other dogs and children. The yard allows me to give them more potty breaks and it is secure and secluded so this is a safe space. I can also make trips to nearby dog parks to give them a little more social time with other dogs as well as change the scenery from time to time.

Iris is WONDERFUL! This was the second time I left my fur baby with Iris for over a week and she took such amazing care of my pup and sent updates regularly. It was clear my pup (who is a nervous girl) was comfortable and at ease with Iris from the pictures and videos I got everyday. I know my pup is in good hands with Iris!

Iris is kind, punctual, and took care of my puppy as if she was her own. I got pictures multiple times each day, and my pup came home happy and healthy! HIGHLY recommend!
Iris was so wonderful with my pup Dreamy! I was a little worried because my pup is blind and I wasn’t sure how she’d adjust but Iris sent pics every few hours and I could tell Dream felt totally safe and happy while there. She even got her a little Christmas gift so she wouldn’t feel left out:) I will definitely use Iris again in the future and recommend her to everyone who’s looking for a genuine person to care for their fur babies!

My yard allows me to give the dogs more frequent potty breaks and it is secure and secluded so this is a safe space. I have a fake grass section that we have coined the "poop garden" that my dogs uses. I have found that most visiting dogs adjust to going there quickly and I don't usually have a problem of where they can use the bathroom.

Information Iris P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what your dog is used to and any key things to keep in mind while watching him/her. How is your dog with other dogs? I can board up to 2 dogs at a time and knowing how they get along with others helps me plan a comfortable stay for everyone. Is your dog housebroken? If they are not that is totally fine because I have a yard and can take them out frequently. Being honest about this is important because I do allow dogs on furniture and I'd rather know before hand how much freedom they can have without worrying about accidents. Tips and Reminders for dog owner to pack for the stay: Dog food and Dog bowls Pee pads if they go on them Treats (I have a stash to give them during the stay. Please let me know if they have any allergies or treats they should avoid.) Toys ( I have a few toys for visiting pets but feel free to bring their favorite toy ) An item that smells like you or home. I find that this helps with the anxieties of a new place. When making the stay request please be mindful of the times you choose for drop off and pick up. Rover has a policy that will prompt us to modify the stay to add a fee if you are late to pick up or if the stay goes past the same time as drop off. For example, if you drop off at 9 am then pick up is 9am, anything after will result in a $65 fee to compensate for the extra time. Rover does this so we can stay accurate with our availability.
A typical day
My yard is small but a perfect place to play and bask in the sun. We can go on walks and I can guarantee plenty of belly rubs.

I work from home so I can easily accommodate your pup! Weather permitting I spend most days outside so I can work and the dogs can enjoy the day as well.
