Pet care experience
I have experience caring for all kinds of pets! I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and needs. I worked in a veterinary hospital last year before going to grad school. I am happy to walk, play, bathe, brush, feed, cuddle, and medicate your pet as you normally do!

The main reasons I would Highly recommend Iris are: the Pups (2 Large energetic dogs) were very chill when we returned home -- this evidence that they were sufficiently walked, which is a high priority here. our home was left neat and tidy, just as it was prior to our leaving Iris was Prompt and reliable She went above and beyond in offering to water plants, she took in mail and the newspapers She is also a very nice intelligent person who can hold a conversation and communicated well
Iris was an excellent Rover. She left the place cleaner than when we left and our dog was happy and tired when we got back home.
Iris is a fabulous cat sitter! She pet sat my elderly cats on a couple of occasions and she was very attentive to their needs. I would have kept using her services if she hadn't moved!

I am patient and loving with all pets. I let the dog or cat warm up to me first by being quiet, still, and encouraging. After they are warmed up to me, I give them lots of praise and pets! If we are going for a walk, I will be sure to be gentle with them as we walk and go at their pace.

What triggers do they have? Lightening and thunder storms, cars, other dogs? Do you use anti-anxiety meds or treats to distract them? I can work with anything as long as I know ahead of time.
A typical day
I can walk or run with them. I can throw a ball stick or frisbee for fetch. I really like cuddling and don’t mind sleeping with them in the bed.

Availability
Currently I am taking graduate classes at Duke (remote), so I am free in the middle of the day and in the evenings to care for your pet. I am happy to work weekends/ holidays as well if you need.
