Hi! I'm Iris, I'm a dog walker and pet sitter with a passion for all things animals. With years of personal experience and knowledge in pet care, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure the happiness and safety of your beloved pets. My first dog was a Labrador pup who I cared for since I was seven. Through the years, I've honed my skills in training dogs to perform impressive tricks, fostering an environment of learning, fun, and mental stimulation. Additionally, my experience with my second dog, a fearful German Shepherd, has given me valuable insights into the unique challenges faced by reactive dogs. Working closely with a professional dog behaviourist, I acquired a good understanding of positive reinforcement techniques to address difficult behaviour problems. I firmly believe in using patience, compassion and tailored approaches to help dogs overcome their fears and to build confidence. I’m currently in my first year of an Animal Behaviour and Training degree where I get lots of hands on experience caring for a variety of species including rodents, dogs, and other exotic animals. Finally I have a lovely Ragdoll cat who knows lots of cute tricks, such as sit, shake paw and spin! Thanks for reading :)
