Pet care experience
A laid-back household without any pets at the moment. I have owned pets for 25 years. My last dog passed away recently, so I am an empty-nester. We have a large unfenced yard (one and a half acres) and great walkable streets to take your pet for a walk. We live in an extremely safe and beautiful area. Large and small breeds are welcome. I volunteered at the dog shelter in the past as well as participated in the dog shows. We are looking forward to hosting your pet in our home!

Our dog was in excellent hands with Irina! It was like leaving her with family. She gave us multiple updates and pictures throughout her stay. I'm not sure Greta wanted to come back home after her holiday!

A typical day
I have been a long believer in a combination of calm clear expectations and a positive training/attitude. Dogs get equally anxious from not enough stimulation and too much freedom. When I host dogs in my house, we follow a schedule that the owner will provide so that the predictable routine is being followed. We go on walks, we might play in the yard, and we have a down time in the house. Communication is the key: with the owner and with the pet.

I am an educator with a very flexible schedule and am rarely away from home for more than 4 hours. I follow owner’s routine to make sure pet stay on predictable schedule.
