Growing up I always loved dogs. I have a Maltese/poodle mix named Lily. I’ve had her since she was 10 months old and now she is 10 years old. Lily is low energy and tends to ignore other dogs. She does enjoy occasionally playing other dogs but gets tired fast. Lily has gone through health issues with her back and with lots of patience and treatments she is back to living a normal life. I have a lot of experience administering medication, caring for older dogs, and dealing with separation anxiety. I work from home and provide frequent bathroom breaks and never leave pups unattended for long periods of time.

Irene takes such great care of my Stony. He had a daily pill to take during his time with her and she made sure he took it with food when he ate, so that he stayed on schedule. I super appreciated knowing he was being cared for by Irene even when he wasn't feeling his best.
Irine is very nice she took good care of my fur baby. Her Lily and my Coffee had a wonderful week together. I highly recommend and definitely book her again in the future.
Irene is amazing! She helped me out enormously when I had an emergency situation and needed to extend my dog’s stay. Irene and her husband are the nicest people you will ever meet, and it is clear they love dogs! They are very knowledgeable about dog care and treat your dog like part of their family.

I live in a pet friendly condo and allow dogs the bed, sofa, and all around then condo. Since I don’t have a fenced yard I take Lily on long walks 3 times a day and can provide additional bathroom breaks for other pups.

A typical day
When I dog sit, I make sure to move my schedule around to ensure I am home for the majority of the day. Oftentimes a new environment can be very stressful for a dog, especially if they do not know me or Lily yet. I focus on making them feel comfortable in my home. My weekdays are very routine, we stay home, go on walks, play with toys, nap. Weekends I like to take Lily and any dog I sit to my parents house to run around and play in the fenced yard. In the warmer months I enjoy taking Lily and any pup I sit to walk around old town or Clarendon. I also have a variety of car seats for dogs and always make sure they are safely fastened.

Availability
I work from home full time. Therefore, I am home all the time. I only step out for a short amount of time once a week or so to buy groceries. I avoid leaving Lily alone for more than 2 hours a day. If I care for your pup, you can rest assured they will not be left alone.
