I offer a home-from-home experience for your dog(s) or cats in a clean, quiet and safe home within a peaceful private 200-acre neighborhood. I have a large fenced yard, room to romp indoors, toys and cuddles on the furniture. I give your pet lots of exercise and attention to minimize the stress of being away from you. Boarding includes a hike in the Tumalo area and/or a walk around my property.. My personal experience includes Border Collies, Husky mix, Belgian Shepherds and Great Dane and my professional experience includes seniors and miniatures. A cat owned me for 15 years, I would be happy to look after your feline. While I love big dogs, but can NOT take dogs that are excessively boisterous or lacking basic training ( young puppies being an exception). My apologies. I take caring for your pet very seriously. I am happy to administer medication and have training in pet first aid and CPR. I volunteer for PET (Pet Evacuation Team) and act as a local foster for rescued dogs. I am a retired academic who likes to stay active and I pride myself in having common sense. My own senior Border Collie passed in 2022, your dog will have my full attention. Play dates are often arranged with my neighbors and their dogs. I guarantee your dog will be a stay with the energy level it prefers. Daycare includes a hike or leash walk and a romp in my large fenced yard and cuddles and playtime indoors. I love to walk and offer off-leash hikes or leash walks. While your dog does not have to have a perfect ‘heel’ command it must already be trained for leash walks. For all my clients, I believe you know your dog better than anyone and I will sincerely follow any instructions you provide. But if I have concerns about your dogs welfare I will speak up. A meet and greet is required and offered at no charge. You MUST tell me if your dog has health issues and provide a vaccination printout from your vet. A discount applies to second pet.
