Pet care experience
I have been a pet sitter for friends and family for over a decade. I regularly foster for the humane society and spend much of my time with these dogs working on their leash manners, socialness, and general skills. I love pets of all kinds but have a soft spot for dogs, and cannot currently have one of my own, so I'd love to take care of yours! When your pet is with me, I am working from home during that time and can give them the individualized care they need (I will not have a foster dog with me). If I am dropping by your home I make sure to follow all provided instructions and am more than happy to play with your dog while I'm there. I have experience in pet first aid, medication administration for senior dogs, and various training methods. Feel free to reach out if you have questions!

I aim to provide at least the same level of care you would to your pet, if not more. If the pet is with me, I have a fenced in yard they can spend as much time as they like in, and a large crate that will be made into a safe/quiet space for them. If I'm in your home I will ensure that your pet is as comfortable as possible by following provided instructions.

A typical day
I live in a very walkable neighborhood that I love to take dogs through - plenty of things to smell and see. I keep a variety of toys on hand so we can play fetch or tug. When I visit your dog in your home, I plan to give them the attention you'd want them to have when you're home (eg, playing on the floor or fetch in the yard, lots of pets, etc).

Availability
My availability for pet care is based around my work and class schedule - which can change a lot from week to week. Sometimes this means I am available for morning walks or evening drops ins, or I can host your pet for multiple days.
