My name is Irene and my heart melts for any dog I see. I have my own mix breed (German Shepherd/Lab) pup named Hunter who is the silliest/cutest thing I am lucky to see each and every day. But I have hardly heard of anyone’s day getting worse after meeting more than one dog, so I say bring it on, any size. The first dog I ever owned (Siegfried- a Doberman Pinscher) had very serious special needs/health problems so I am well trained, always prepared for serious situations, and can give them the best care I can provide. I am a transferring sophomore from the east coast and now attending University of Nevada, Reno. So being a college student I will have a reasonably flexible schedule. I have been told that I have a big heart and I stand by that opinion, I am always looking to help and am offering my services as a volunteer worker in as many places as I can (Local church, Humane Society, Boys and Girls Club, etc.). Like I said before I am in love with dogs and anything dog related, meaning I am always reading up on pet health articles, looking into the best dog parks to go, and searching for local events that make dogs the subject.
