All the 4-legged children I care for are my favorite! (shhh! don't tell the others!) Some are social and like to walk with others, some are shy, so I walk one at a time. When the 2-legged go on vacations, or even just off to work, they love to tell me , when they tell my adopted 4-legged children, "auntie will stay with you" and my favorites run to the door wagging their tails and barking with excitement! Alas, like small humans, they do not understand what "not right this minute means"! Lots of fun and vibes of good feelings are exchanged between myself and my charges. I wouldn't say I "train" them, but they seem to like the treats I have for them when they behave so beautifully. Walks are always a good way to enjoy the day and give them a break from the day at home. Whether if I arrive, just to take them for a walk, or if I am staying with them while others are on vacation, it is a sure thing everyone (especially those with me) have a good time. Those on vacation, can relax and enjoy themselves too, knowing all is well at home. It's a "win win" for all.
