I got my own terrier puppy two years ago and found myself immersed in the world of dog training after 15 years of horse training and a lifetime with family dogs. Now I find myself a dog training apprentice at School for the Dogs and I love having the opportunity to meet and work with new dogs. I love engaging the minds of clever dogs and finding the things that make dogs happy. I have standard obendience experience, and have trained my own dog for dog agility, a sport that he adores. I love going out into the yard and seeing him run straight for the agility obstacles, ready for a good time. I also love to take him jogging. After everything my own dog has taught me, combined with years of horse experience and work with a dog trainer, I feel confident and comfortable with all kinds of dogs. I would love to work on obendience training, explore new neighborhoods, or find fun games that engage your dog.
