I grew up with four cats and spent time around several dogs while in college where I grew especially fond of them. During my teens, I frequently dog-sat my neighbor's black lab while they were out of town, coming over to check-on her, let her out, feed her, and play with her outside. I cat-sat for another neighbor often as well. I was the animal-sitter on my street, you could say. I love to walk, run, and hike, and enjoy outdoor excursions with a canine companion. I've also read a few training books to better understand dogs. It's not the most convenient time for me to own a dog or cat myself, but I love the company of animals and would really enjoy caring for your animal when needed.
