Excellent pet care in your home!
Pet care experience
I am a Colorado native with a love for dogs and cats. I began my journey as a pet sitter, with my sister, when we were pre-teens, taking care of our neighbors pets while they were on vacations. During our college years we were known to house a puppy or kitten that dorm students were unable to keep. As a young adult I watched pets primarily for my friends and began my love for rescuing animals, including multiple stray kittens, and my two dogs including my resident dog-sitting-dog, Whiskey. Now I have made my love and knowledge of caring for animals into my full time endeavor. I offer dog walks and drop-in visits where I can provide your pet with elite pet care in the comfort of their home. I am shifting from caring for dog in my home to caring for dogs individually at their own home.

Inga is so helpful with our kitties and home when we are away! Super responsive and friendly, we couldn’t take a trip without her.
Inga is so great! She makes us feel very comfortable if we ever have to go out of town. She’s very responsive and leaves great updates for us. Would definitely recommend!

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
Communication is the most important quality for me and my customers. My goal is to provide care that is consistent with what your pup is accustomed to and trained to expect. I require a harness for any dog who is a heavy puller on walks. I have experience with halti's, many harnesses, prong collars and e-collars. I do require dogs to be walked on leash but I will use whatever collar or harness they are accustomed to. In temperatures over 80 degrees I will use my best judgment about the route and length of walks to avoid unnecessary injuries. I have experience with medications and injections.
Information Inga & J. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog good with others dogs? Do they have leash reactivity? What are their previous sitter experiences? Any specific food or dietary restrictions? What health issues do they have and what medications do they take? Are they crate trained? Anything that annoys them? Anything that makes them happy?
A typical day
Your dogs drop in visits will include any meals needed, a walk to use the bathroom if they do not have a yard, otherwise yard time, fetch, tug of war and belly rubs. I will change and wash their water bowl at each visit. During walks your pup will enjoy time out on a leash, I am happy to walk at the pups pace and will even jog with a well trained dog. I will keep training treats with me and will work towards loose leash walking whenever possible. The distance covered really depends on the dog.

During visits I will provide bathroom time, meals as needed, scoop litter, pick up poop as requested, and pet and play with your pet. I try to be as close to the requested time as possible but with other appointments there could be an adjustment. My goal is always to communicate that ahead of the appointment.
