Pet care experience
I enjoy spending time, taking care of and playing with both dogs and cats! I live a very active lifestyle, and enjoy bringing my pets along with me for walks around my neighborhood, hikes and walks along the beach. I am able to handle long walks/hikes and have experience taking dogs in cars for long drives. I have experience with dogs of all ages and have the patience to work with young puppies as well as senior dogs. When it comes to temperament I have a lot of experience working with shy dogs who are unsure about meeting new people. I am very comfortable working with a shy/nervous dog, and focus on making sure your pet is comfortable wherever we are. I have experience playing, feeding and walking shy dogs which includes lots of love and reassurance. Along with shy dogs, I have also worked with a lot of reactive dogs. If your dog is not dog or human friendly - neither is mine! I have a lot of experience handling these dogs around other animals while at the park or on a walk, and have been able to diffuse stressful encounters. I am able to walk multiple dogs at once and also make sure to keep them safe in any situation. I love meeting new animals, and working to become their friend. Any chance I get, I love interacting with pets and bringing them along with me for any occasion!

I live in an apartment in a residential neighborhood. While we are not walking distance to a park, I have a vehicle that I can use to get to other neighborhoods/parks! I have the ability to have the pet in a crate in a room or in a blocked off area. All of our counters are fairly high and we don't leave much out for animals to get into. We have easy access in the front and the back of our apartment to the street (just have to go down a flight of stairs!). I have experience carrying dogs up and down the stairs as well if they aren't able to walk them.

Is you dog comfortable in the car, especially during long car rides? How do they do with other pets? We have a cat in my apartment so your pet would need to be cat friendly if you are looking for doggy day care. Are they ones to bark a lot? Can they be left alone for over an hour?
A typical day
I love taking pets to the park where we can play fetch, meet other dogs or go for a walk around the area. I enjoy long walks almost as much as I enjoy snuggling up and watching some TV. Pets are allowed on my furniture, which makes TV watching even better. While inside I enjoy playing with pets using toys or interactive feeders.

Availability
I am fully remote for my job, so I am home all day! I would be able to walk/care for your pet during the day as I often take breaks and have a very flexible schedule. My weekly routine consists of me getting up early to start work, while taking breaks in between so I'm not sitting for the whole day. I really enjoy having pets during the day as I am able to take them out for a walk so both of us can get fresh air! After work I try to get outside for some exercise like going for a walk or going to the gym. My weekends are always fairly free and full of time spent outside exploring with friends.
