The Real “Animal Whisper”
Pet care experience
My name is India, and I grew up with my mother being an Animal Cruelty Investigator, and my father being a Landscape Architect. I ended up with the perfect combination of big passion for animals and plants. I have been working for animal shelters and veterinary hospitals since I was 14 years old. I have worked for a veterinary psychiatrist, and I gained countless bits of information that have made me a stronger, animal behavior technician. This means I analyze pets behavior, as try to make pets as happy as they can be. I am also certified in Fear Free, which amplifies this skill. In my own household, I have an amazing dog named, Panda; a little black cat name, Chicken; 2 beautiful cockatiels named, Palma & Philly; and multiple planted aquarium tanks. I decided to use Rover to expand my pet sitting clientele.

We needed to travel for 4 days and didn't have anyone to look after our cat. We met India and instantly trusted her. After we left she gave us updates on our cat so we always knew what was going on! India was more than I could have hoped for. She is patient, kind, understanding, and more like Doctor Doolittle (dating myself a bit) than any other person I've met. My dog can be temperamental (as some terriers can be) and he absolutely loved her. At home visits, dog over-night stays, day-time-walks, India does it all and does it gracefully. She'll be my go to sitter from here on!
India is a great pet sitter, she is really attentive and I have used her many times in the past. Really sweet to talk to and a heart full of love for animals.
India is my go to person when I'm away! she is responsible, reliable, loving and caring and a great person over all. I trust her with my baby Blue as well as my human kids. Highly recommended!!!

Between my boyfriend and I, someone is always around to interact with your fur babies. And when we’re not home, our fur babies are there to keep them company. Your pet will feel safer if you bring things they love, like toys, blankets, crates, etc.

If your pet has a specific daily routine, I will keep it as consistent as possible. I can accommodate administering medications (oral and injectable). If your pet has an medical history, email or bring physical records at drop off. If your pet was to require any medical attention while you are away, I work for a local veterinary clinic.
A typical day
Every dog requires unique care. Young, energetic dogs may need me to take them for long walks in the park, while a senior dog may enjoy lounging on the couch all day. I encourage enrichment activities such as, frozen peanut butter kongs, food puzzles, basic obedience with high value treats, and more! Let me know what your pet needs in it’s daily routine, and I will be as consistent as I can be!
