Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we pretty much always had a dog in the house - usually because my parents were tired of hearing me beg for one - so my mom would constantly remind me that it was my dog, and my responsibility to care for it. Over the years, taking care of a dog went from being a chore, to being something I genuinely enjoyed. I spent some of my spare time in animal shelters, walking and caring for animals. I loved knowing I was making a difference and potentially even saving lives. When I was 16, I my mom decided to fulfill her childhood dream and bought 16 backyard chickens. While I was hesitant on this at first, I grew to love the chickens as much as I loved my dogs. I realized that it wasn't just dogs that I loved, but I had a love for all animals. I am majoring in Finance not because I want to be an Investment Banker or work on Wall Street (as tempting as that may be), but because I hope to someday open my own business - one that gives back to society in a meaningful way, and one that helps provide a high quality of life for all of God's creatures. Since I can't commit to taking care of my own dog as I'm finishing up college and get ready to begin a job post grad at Johnson and Johnson, I enjoy Rover because it allows me to still care for and spend time with animals :) Oh and another plus, I love photography, so I’ll send you some high quality photos of your furry friend :)

Imani was an amazing dog walker. Friendly, professional and punctual. She was very caring with Yoshi and he looked forward to their walks. I appreciate her flexibility to accept my booking on short notice as I needed help with walking my dog while I recover from an injury I would 100% book her again.

i believe in the importance of bringing dogs outside for at least some of the day to get some fresh air and get out of their living quarters! It doesn't matter what pet you have, I’ll play with them and spend time around them so they don’t feel alone. I will treat them like they are my own, and do my best to help them forget that you are gone. Whatever you prefer in terms of training and accommodations for your pet I will do my best to follow. Just let me know ahead of time!

- Any dietary restrictions? - Any triggers that I should be aware of (such as fireworks, vacuum cleaners, etc.)? - How do you calm your dog down when they're upset or anxious? - What does their eating schedule look like? When do they generally go on walks/need to go outside? - Does your dog get along with other dogs? - Is your dog allowed on furniture/beds? -Is your dog crate trained/house trained? -does your pet have any underlying health conditions that I should be aware of** -do I need to administer any kind of medication - if so, you MUST tell me ahead of time** - Any other rules/accommodations you have for your pet that I should be aware of? *Please answer truthfully - these won't determine whether or not I accept your request! I just want to understand how to accommodate for your pet,and to make sure that if I am caring for another dog, their safety is not being put at risk!
A typical day
The activities I do with each dog depends on the dog that I'm caring for! If your dog has a lot of energy and needs high amounts of exercise each day, I would be more than willing to take them on a jog, or to bring them along on a hike. If your pet is older and would rather sit inside, I figure out an activity that is conducive to being inside - such as playing with their toys, talking to them to calm them down, or watching a show or putting on a movie with them by my side. Let me know what activities your pet enjoys ahead of time, and I will do my best to make it part of my schedule while caring for your pet!

I work full-time at Johnson & Johnson, but I am thankful to work at a company that allows flexibility in my schedule. I work 2 days from home, and 3 in the office, so I have time to spend at home with your furry friend
