Pet care experience
Hi there! I had my first dog when I was 5, and since then dogs have been the best companions throughout my whole life. When my dog passed away (she was an 18-year-old Pekingese), I knew that we - as a family- provided her the best care and love from the very beginning. Every single dog has his/her own unique personality and it is an amazing feeling to spend time and get to know each and every one of them in person. I've been in Ottawa for the last 9 years and I am spending quite a bit of time with my partner walking around in my neighborhood. I am a perfect match if you need someone to take care of your dog for the weekends or throughout the weekdays. I work in IT as an Analyst, and I work from home for most days! I have a cozy apartment in Glebe and it is a very dog-friendly environment; close to Dow's Lake and other dog-friendly parks. Also PROUD to mention that I've been known as a loving and caring dog-sitter in my circle as I have lots of friends who are confident about leaving their dogs with me when needed. Anyway, feel free to ask any questions needed. I just like dogs and spending time at home or walking around with them is quite enjoyable. If I wouldn't have to travel for work often, I'd adopt permanently to provide a cozy environment for one of our great friends. It is the perfect fit for me -as a dog lover- to use my skills to make sure that the dogs I spend time with are safe and happy when their hoomans are away. :) Cheers, Ilyas

Ilyas gave lots of updates and pictures and my dog Chai seemed to be completely at home while she was there.
We really liked Ilyas and found him to be very professional and prompt in all communication. There was an obvious sense that he genuinely cared about our dog. He was very good at keeping us informed on a daily basis about activities and outings planned with our pup. We will use his services again when next we need a sitter.
Maple had a wonderful time with Ilyas. The photos he sent show a very happy dog! Ilyas was very communicative, everything was super easy. Would definitely recommend and I'm sure Maple would be thrilled for another visit.
Ilyas took a same day booking for our fog and accommodated a lash minute extension. Lots of picture updates with our dog having a great time inside and outside. I was very happy with his service and would use again!

I do not have any bread preferences; all dogs are different to a certain level and they are all unique. I'd like to know if they are well behaved and trained in advance so that I can make sure that my apartment is a good fit for them. If they like chewing on stuff (leather couch, bed frames, shoes etc. You never know!) or tend to have any behaviors similar to that it would be nice to get a heads up.
