I have given injections to my veterinarians cat when I was house sitting, but never to a dog. Under your wise tutelage I’m sure I can figure it out, if necessary. But I have a big problem giving oral meds to cats. I’m just terrible at it. I will crush it up and put it in wet food or something but I can’t force them to swallow a pill.

Depending on the dog, I like to wear them out by hitting a tennis ball far for them to fetch in a public park, taking them on hikes on trails, or just a bit of a walk around the neighborhood a few times a day. The tennis ball trick is usually best for high energy dogs, I find but I’m open to whatever your little bear prefers for toys and exercise.
