We have a golden retriever ourselves and we think a fur friend for her would be really great. We trained our dog using positive reinforcement.. She still doesn't know how heavy she is as she keeps jumping on us every now and then, but we love it as well. so it's all good. We have a trail 10 minutes from our place and a fenced yard where we can hangout for a little while always supervised as our golden loves to dig the yard... My wife and I work from home, so we're basically at home most of the time. We also have two kids (1 yo and 3yo) that loves playing with dogs, so this is another bonus for having one more dog at home... But I think Skye (our golden retriever) will be the one playing and hanging out with your dog most of the time as she really loves playing! We go for a walk early in the morning for about 45 minutes and then two walks for potty. One in the afternoon and another one before we go to bed between 9 and 11pm. The dogs will always have fresh water in their bowl and they can sleep wherever they want basically... Our dog usually sleeps in our bedroom, but sometimes she likes sleeping downstairs... Your will most likely stay with me in my Home Office most of the day, or with my wife in her office upstairs... It will depend on where they want to stay to be honest...
