IG: lucas.theretriever I've been taking care of dogs since I was 15. I love every breed! I had a Shih Tzu for 12 years and currently have a 5 years old golden retriever. I went through the years of caring for a puppy and a senior dog. I am a nurse, so I am very detailed orientated, observant, and caring. You can rely on me to bring your dog to a fun adventure.

Ida dogsat my corgi for a week and was wonderful! She is very easy to work with and very responsive to messages. They stuck to our regular eating/walking schedule so coming back to my corgi was easy peasy! I would recommend and ask Ida to dogsit again the next time I am out of town.

I have a backyard that is full fenced. Whenever I go out on walks, my dog is always on a leash. If there are dogs nearby, I command my dog to sit and I will assess the environment and other dogs to see if it is safe to say hello. I observe my dog when he is near grass as he likes to eat anything that smells edible. I will quickly distract him and walk him elsewhere to prevent him from eating anything gross.

Availability
I am currently working as a full time public health nurse. I work 3 days at home and 2 days at the office (Mon & Tues). When I am at home, my dog is always beside me. I wake up early to go on a walk with my dog before work. During my lunch break, I go on another walk with my dog. When I'm in the office, I wake up early to walk my dog and ensure he is fed and there is plenty of water for 7 hours when I am away. I have a petcamera which I use to check up on him every 2 hours. After work (which is only 10 minutes away from home), I will go on a long walk with him.
