Safe & Secure when U R away!
Pet care experience
Reliable, Responsible and Experienced! Trustworthy and Dependable! Going away and leaving your pet can be very stressful for both the pet and the pet parent. I completely understand this and that’s why it’s so important to me that both the pet and the pet parent are comfortable. I have always loved animals, how could you not, they are better than humans! I absolutely love spending time with them. I’m here because I just can’t get enough and can’t wait to meet more fur babies to take care of and make friends with. I have many years experience with animals that has given me lots of opportunities to experience young and old, big and small, healthy and sick. I have experience with Diabetic pets and giving insulin injections, and eye problems that need daily cleaning and meds, post surgical care and minor injury care. Taking puppies outside often to play and potty and giving love and affection and companionship that all pets deserve. It’s my goal to make you and your pet comfortable with the arrangements. You should be able to relax and enjoy your time away. And the fur babies should feel happy, loved and protected.

Ida was wonderful! Attentive to my three dogs. Wrote out their meds schedule. Kept great communication! Would definitely recommend her!

We were the luckiest pet parents in the world to have found Ida! She is now our official dog-whisperer! (geckos too) Our 2 dogs are well-behaved, but my one rescue is terrified of anything and everyone. So much so that we have been unable to go anywhere without her. (My son and daughter-in-law visited for a week and barely got close to her!) Being that our 40th wedding anniversary was coming up. we needed a parent-only vacation. Ida spent 3 visits, prior to her house/pet sitting, just making the pets feel more comfortable. She arrived to stay while we were still there, and immediately settled in with our dogs. (cats were elusive until day 2) In the past, I have asked sitters (prior to Shia) to please leave notes or let me know how everyone was doing. I did not need to do that with Ida: she texted, called and sent progress videos. I think she was more worried about them than I was! I don't know how she did it, but after a while, Shia became a different dog: calm, loving and eating with a virtual stranger! I also got lizard and cat updates, in addition to her taking care of our home! (garbage out, mail, etc). Not only were my animals content when we got home, the house was spotless and Ida left us 2 plants. Needless to say, Ida is my Gotta. Ida know what I did without her. Ida - we love you! Thank you so much.

Ida is wonderful with the girls. She is so kind and so sweet and patient with them, they can be a handful when they get excited but she handles them like a pro. Gabby had gotten sick right in front of the door, Ida cleaned it up and let me know that my girl was not feeling well. She also is in tune with their individual needs and is adjusting to give both off the girls the best experience during their time together. I would highly recommend Ida to care for your babies. The girls and I are so grateful.

Ida is amazing with my shepherds!!! They love her to pieces and are always so well behaved when I get back home!! She sends the most beautiful pictures and cute videos!! 🥰

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is first always , indoor and out. Pets depend on us for everything and should be made to feel safe and secure, especially when pet parents are away. A fence is nice, but a leash works just as well. When I am with your Pet they have my full attention , and will be my number one priority. Your privacy is also very important to me.
Information Ida M. would like to know about your pet
I love getting to know my pet friends, and want to hear all you have to say about your furry family members. It’s especially important to me to make them and you feel comfortable while you are away.
A typical day
Every pet is different and I enjoy learning about them to see what makes them happy. Playing fetch outdoors, walking, hiking, or rolling a ball down a hallway if it’s too cold or rainy outside. Hide and seek is fun too. Senior pets are special to me, they teach us so much. We will figure each other out to see what works. Lots of fresh air, snacks and lots of cuddles and affection included.

Availability
I work a few hours a day, early in the morning. If I am staying in your home, I will leave to go to my home twice a day and be gone for about 3.5 hours each time. This allows me to tend to my own pets, have my meals, take my showers etc. in my own home. I have to go home twice a day for 3 to 4 hours.
