Pet care experience
I've had 5 dogs for the last 5 years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet.
Reviews
Ida was wonderful! She sent picture updates and communicated well! I'm so glad I found her and look forward to my next trip away knowing my house and dogs will be well cared for.
Ida was amazing. The dogs were so happy to see her and the she was very flexible.
We greatly appreciate Ida! She met all expectations. Ida took great care of the dogs and our home. She was very communicative and the dogs were super happy to see her again. Looking forward to booking with her in the future.
Ida is always there when we need her! She cares so much about our doggos and gives them the attention they need when we are gone! I’ve used her services multiple times and I am always impressed. Last weekend she even changed the dressing of one of ours throughout the weekend as he had gotten cut 15 minutes before we planned to depart!

Safety, trust & environment
I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.
Information Ida E. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs I can account for or triggers I can avoid. Please let me know if they have any bad habits I should be aware of like if they like to eat rocks or chase squirrels.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a walk. My neighborhood has a looping street that is almost perfectly one mile. There are a good number of shady spots so I go as long as their paws can handle it. Then I like to fill up a plastic turtle pool for their relaxation after the walk to beat the heat. Depending on the breed, I like to add ice cubes for some metal stimulation. Sometimes my dogs will play with the cubes or just chew on them. Afterwards we'll go inside and enjoy the air conditioning. Depending on energy levels, they'll either nap or demand some more play time in which case I've got an abundance of chew toys and tug toys.

Availability
I'm only working part time at the moment so I have most of my week open to dog walking or pet sitting. I'm saving up for college so I'm willing to be flexible.
