Hi! I’m a 23 year old UMASS student taking this fall semester off. I’m athletic, caring/tolerant, and experienced with handling all sorts of dogs. I can handle most any request, be it runs, hikes (extensive familiarity with nearby trails), basic training, you name it. I’m down-to-earth, flexible, and punctual. I also have a dog-proofed SUV if needed. Usually willing to travel about 10 miles, but depending on the requested service I can stretch that. Ian visits my 2 labs almost every day. He has given me great peace of mind and my pups have a new best friend!
Ian is great! Very responsive and easy to work with, and my little 9 lbs dog had a great time playing with his labs. He is also very convenient to reach from the Northampton area.
Ian is one of the most loving and responsible dog owners I've ever met. He has extremely close relationships with his two labs and will do anything for them. Anyone having their dog(s) cared for by Ian can expect a lot of affection and close attention to all their needs. He will go above and beyond to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
Our two black labs, Jack (13.5 yrs.) and George (2.5 yrs.), light up when Ian shows up with the walking leashes. They go on long walks around Childs Park, the Mill River over at Smith College, nearby neighborhoods, and the bike path. My wife might be jealous, but I would say Ian is our dogs' best friend! It's obvious he enjoys walking dogs and being outside and intuitively knows how much energy and exercise dogs need. As Jack is older, he sometimes needs his own "slower" strolls as he likes to take his time revisiting and sniffing his favorite spots. George is more rambunctious and energetic and returns home tired and satisfied. Ian is accountable, dependable, and makes dog walks fun. We are lucky to have our "boys."
