Pet care experience
I am a student-athlete at Westminster College here in Salt Lake City, looking for a fun way to make a little extra cash and be able to help working people and their dogs without breaking your bank! I am a West Linn High School graduate, I volunteer at Salt Lake County animal services with both dogs and cats, I worked for over a year at Petco, I am an avid animal lover and feel more than qualified to do whatever you need as a parent. I am extremely flexible and mobile, happy to work pretty much any time and any place. I am not here to try and make money off you, I really do care about your dogs (even though I haven’t met them yet) but it is a true passion of mine to see their smiling faces- reach out and I will not disappoint!

Ian watched our dogs for four days while we were in Florida. This is the first time I haven’t worried about them while we were away. It’s clear that he loves dogs and really enjoys having them around. He kept us updated with pics and messages every day and I could tell they were having a blast in his back yard. Can’t wait for our next trip so our pups can go hang out there again!
Ian's place seems spacious and clean, and Ian sent a bunch of picture updates of my pup. He's a college student, so someone is at his house most of the time, which made me feel reassured. He was really flexible, took the request last minute after another sitter had to cancel, and was really nice!
Ian was great! He asked questions and listened closely to our instructions. He confirmed pick-up and drop-off times via text. He sent us pictures of our happy dogs throughout their stay and let us know what activities they were doing. He seemed to honestly care about their comfort. You can feel confident leaving your dogs with Ian.
Ian was awesome with our dog Flynn. He was quick to respond to messages and sent updates and pictures on how Flynn was doing. I wouldn't hesitate to have Ian take care of him again!

A typical day
I am always active, going on hikes (places like the gorge and areas more local like Willamette Park, Mary S Young, Tryon Creek) walks, jogs, etc. Playing ball is a favorite of mine (I play lacrosse so naturally dogs love how far the ball goes) and I also enjoy skateboarding (which my dog also loves to sprint behind me as I ride). I am very open to whatever your dog likes to do for fun, and can promise a great time.
