From goldfish to dogs, pets have been an important part of our childhood and adult lives. My family has always had large dogs (including Goldens and Bernese Mountain dogs!) but growing up I was personally responsible for the well being of my own goldfish and our family’s tropical fish tank. As a young adult, I babysat a painted slider (turtle) for three years while its owner was overseas and had two cats of my own! My partner and I love pets but unfortunately don’t have any of our own. We live by many trails and are very fond of walking, jogging and hiking :)
