My Work Break Means I’m Fully Free To Help
Pet care experience
Just want to start with a disclaimer that I can walk, or sit at yours with or without my own 11 year old cherub. Lol. We all know (just as we do with our human friends) who plays well with others, and who does not, so really know I am adaptable to your situation & preferences. I had looked after friends cats & dogs for several years before I even became an owner myself, and learned the best qualities of how they trained their animals, as well as the worst (so not to copy that!). Hugo, my chihuahua, now loves absolutely everyone & most other animals My dog is a chihuahua called Hugo whom I have had for almost 11 years now. I trained him so well he adores most other dogs, and is completely unyappy unless I wind him up! I suggest finger clicks, firm tones, and then uplifting voices & strokes when they boy/girl done good if beginning that journey yourself! I’ve been helping other friends out with their dogs or cats for years, and love all animals. Happy to help with training if you have a newbie, cuddles, playing, or just a plain long lead walk. You let me know if you just want company for your pet, or would appreciate extra help. If you do want your pet to socialise with Hugo & want to meet us first, or just want me involved I’m happy to say hello on whatever turf you like, or just scope me out to check I’m not strange (well, not more than “normal” whatever that is!) I’m very happy to do that. I have my set people I leave Hugo with. Luckily he’s so adored I get offers LOL. If it’s for a large amount of time then he has so come with me. If you are far away you have to pay my travel on public transport, as I do not drive. I’m taking a break from acting at the moment, while I work on my anxiety (it’s with crowds, so do not worry about it affecting me with your animal), so I am literally fully available. I earn money as a live-in landlord with three handpicked animal-loving tenants I can also call friends. To the point they love my dog Hugo so much I can leave him with them if you need a sitter & don’t want another animal involved. If you need me to sit at your abode then you set absolutely all boundaries and ground rules! This should be obvious. The more info of the way you like anything the better! I love cuddles and playtime, happy to attempt grooming, but am used to a littlun I bathe in my own kitchen sink, so do be aware. Haha At my own house I have three animal loving tenants who have become friends. Only one watches tv with me in my lounge! Don’t mind sharing a sofa if they aren’t too large, but you could bring a bed. If your pet doesn’t like being at another’s home & is known not to settle then I don’t think it makes sense to put them through that & I wouldn’t want to feel uncomfortable in my own home, so better at yours. If behaved then no issues at all. I have a reasonable long small - medium garden which is completely gated & fenced. I live less than 5mins from Hythe Park for walkies & play there too. Lordy! That was a lot! Literally ask my anything, we can discuss, and see if it could be a good fit! P.S. If your dog is staying at mine please have beds for them to sleep in! Had an experience where they expected their dogs to sleep on my sofa! Love a sofa cuddle, and have no problem where they sleep at yours if I am watching them there, but my dog has his own beds around my house. I am completely free, as I work part time from home so have as much time as you want for your pet’s attention. Just need them to get along with my own fur baby if staying at mine. I’m happy to do whatever you ask within reason. Our fur bubbas all have their own quirks just like us! We just need discussions obviously! At the moment I’m taking it easy after a tough few years, so have a lot of attention to give your pet. I also have three pet loving lady tenants I live with, so lots of strokes and cuddles. I’m open to all forms of pet care! Sadly I don’t drive, so rely on public transport. I have a lovely fenced garden & live 2mins from a park. I am fully free for pet care at the moment, and have all the time in the world for your dog, as long as it’s trained. Have had a really bad experience recently with a dog that wouldn’t listen to me whatsoever. I have a fenced garden, and a wonderful park five minutes walk from my house. Happy to walk as little or as often as you would like.
Reviews
We are very satisfied! Ian took very good care of our naughty dog even though the dog doesn't know a word of English? We will definitely contact again?
Vincent had a great overnight stay with Ian. It was his first time and Ian was keen to understand his needs and i received messages/photos throughout the stay which was good for my peace of mind. Vincent was a happy dog when i collected him, I didn’t see any change in his demeanour which i’ve experienced sometimes with other carers.
I unfortunately had a bad experience with Ian. I left my 15month labradoodle with him and had our 3 day stay cancelled by Ian after a few hours - ruining mine and my girlfriends weekend away. Ian
Ian is a lovely, warm, proactive and calm person - absolutely perfect to look after our old labrador at our house while we were away. I will definitely be calling on Ian every time we need help and have no reservations at all about recommending him.

Information Ian M. would like to know about your pet
As much info as you can give me always helps. I don’t want to do anything or go anywhere you or your dog wouldn’t appreciate! Need a meet & greet at my local park, and in my house & garden. Obviously at yours need the reverse, but the price of a house visit for the greet plus travel.
A typical day
You let me know the mental or physical stimulation for your pet! Every one is different, a bit like us! Lol. I live 10mins from the river for walking there, just over that for large Lammas Park & 2mins from Hythe Park, my nearest. Literally just cross my road. Lol. I can play if they have toys obviously, and if it’s a nice day those river walks are amazing.
