I have owned and taken care of animals my entire life; I owned 3 dogs and 2 cats growing up, have taken care and lived with 3 dogs over the last few years, and am a proud owner of 4 cats currently. I worked in a veterinary hospital, kennel, and daycare for over 2 years when I was in college. I have extensive experience with walking, feeding, and administering all medicines (oral, topical, invasive) and have provided care for over 50 breeds of dogs and cats.

Ian was great! He sent us pictures of our cats and they always looked happy to see him! They were well fed and watered and Ian gave them treats as well. We came back to a neat and tidy home as Ian made sure the cats didn’t destroy the place. Overall, I highly recommend Ian as a pet-sitter, 11/10!
Ian was great at keeping me updated and I could really tell he loves and cares about animals! Would definitely recommend him.
Ian has walked/dogsat for my corgi for many years and there’s no one I would trust more than Ian to do so. He loves dogs/cats and they love him back just as much, and he knows how important pets are to their owners and takes that responsibility seriously. Any pet is in great hands with Ian.

As a person caring for your pet in your home, I have experience with many dogs and cat breeds and can care for them in any facet including all kinds of feeding and medicine. I also have experience walking dogs of all sizes and caring for cats of all temperaments. Building trust is a strength of mine and is an essential step in the caring process. I find it essential to know their energy level, what types of games and activities they enjoy, if they can have treats, if they want to snuggle and hang out, how they are with new people, what areas around the home they enjoy or if there are new places we should discover.
A typical day
I like to take long walks with the dogs and get them to explore new and fun areas that will stimulate them. While we are on walks and in-home, we can play games as well like fetch and tug-o-war. My goal is to leave your dog much happier than they were when I first get to them.
