Dogs have thoughts and feelings just like us although they have very simple needs. Love, affection, playtime, treats and (of course) potty breaks. Also they eat like nobody's business. My family had a black lab named Lorien from about 2001 through 2013. She lived a life full of walks and snuggles. I have pet sat for many neighbors and family friends over the years including overnight stays. Dogs are fragile creatures and they return all the love we give to them with adorable enthusiasm(which is payment in of itself if you ask me). Every time I come into contact with a dog I am reborn and delighted to be alive. I am so grateful for these beings to exist alongside us. May they always be happy. Amen.
