Pet care experience
Hi y'all! My name is Ian. I live in a home on south side of Sugarhouse with my partner Eliza. We have a nice sized enclosed backyard with plenty of room for dogs of all shapes and sizes to run and play. My work schedule is extremely flexible, so I'll be able to work with yours' and your dog's. I’ve been on Rover on and off for the past four years and have loved all the interaction with fluff balls and owners alike. These days I prefer having dog(s) come stay with me at my place, and I love a good recurring walking schedule where I can meet you and your pup at yours. I am willing and able to meet the needs of any special care your dog requires. I Look forward to meeting you and your best pal(s) and your cat ;)
Reviews
Ian was great! We were in from out of town and needed our high energy, one year old German Shepherd looked after for an afternoon/evening. We were very comfortable and confident leaving Loki with Ian. He kept him entertained and happy. Thanks Ian!
Ian was great! He took time to meet us before our daycare started and was super attentive to Marshall throughout his time with Ian. I really appreciated his thorough list of questions about our dogs needs - it shows how invested he is in ensuring the comfort of the dogs in his care.
Ian was great! Very communicative and flexible with pick-up/drop-off. I was a little nervous about leaving my dog in a new place with a new person, but it worked out really well and Ian handled everything great. He got to play with another dog there and came back to us super tired for a long car ride we had ahead of us.
We haven't been out of town for a decade, mainly because of pets. We got to a point where we really only needed to board our two dogs in order to leave for five days. I was hoping our training could watch them as I had heard so many bad things from friends who used Rover. She wasn't available, so I took a chance and put our info in and when I saw Ian and read his profile, I had a good feeling about it. I explained that our older dog was a little trickier as she doesn't care much for other dogs and even at times people. He was going to be watching a couple other dogs at the time we needed him. He assured me of his experience with different types of personalities and that he was prepared to ensure the comfort of our grumpy old lady, while keeping others happy and safe as well. My husband dropped them and was immediately impressed by Ian and his partner. He said they seemed very knowledgeable and were extremely inviting and kind. Ian provided daily updates with pictures and it was really nice to see how they were doing. Ian was very responsive and very thoughtful. They watched our pups in their home. They had an ample yard and were very accommodating to the dogs in the home. The cost was extremely reasonable. We are beyond satisfied with the care Ian provided for our pups. I highly recommend him and we will definitely reach out to him in the future.

At our place we have a fenced in grassy yard on a quiet street that your dog will love. Pets can make themselves comfy on the couches, carpet or dog beds if they’re boarding here. I’m home most of the day to keep them company and make sure they get regular walks and play time. For walks or sitting at your place, I will be happy to follow any expectations you have for your home and your pet. I love taking pictures of your pet to send you updates! Whatever you need to feel comfortable leaving your beloved pet in my care, I can make happen!

Information Ian B. would like to know about your pet
I have no bias toward your buddy's breed, I'm an equal opportunist dog sitter. With that said, I do have a few questions I would like to know about your dog before we meet. - How old? - Health Conditions? - Medication/Supplement regime? - Exercise and eating regimen? - Get tired easily, or hyperactive? - His/her typical behavior around other dogs/cats? - Aggressive/Alpha, or Submissive and Shy? - Situational triggers? (such as loud noises, thunder-storms, etc.) - Separation Anxiety? - Or any other special information about your dog that you deem as relevant. List of items to bring (Optional - but appreciated!) - Leash - Collar/Harness - Prefered Toys/Treats - Kennel (if kennel trained) - Food and bowl (if necessary) - Comfort item(s) (i.e. something with your family's scent - for separation anxiety)
A typical day
I will either take your dog on some shorter walks around my neighborhood or longer walks at the various trails in the SLC area. I also love to play some good ol' games of fetch in the backyard and some hide and seek with various treats and toys.
