Hi there! I’m Ian, a Computer Science student with a passion for animals of all kinds. At home, I’m the proud owner of Sticks Bartholomew, a speedy 6-month old tortoise, Porridge, a cuddly 2-year old hedgehog, and Cocomelon, the "oinkiest" 1 year old Bichon/Shih Tzu mix. Growing up, I’ve had the privilege to care for a variety of pets - from dogs and cats to reptiles and pocket pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, and hedgehogs. No matter their size, age, or species, I approach each and every one with the same love and dedication.

Ian is the best when it comes to watching my dog. My dog is usually very nervous when it comes to new people, so that fact that he started brining Ian is toys is a huge step for him. Ian even made a book for my dog that has pictures and writes what they did each day while I was gone. It made my entire week to see that when I got back home. I can always trust that he’s in good hands, and it puts my anxiety at ease. The best dog sitter ever by far!
Ian is the first and probably only dog sitter I will have for Winnie. My little guy takes three medications in the morning and another 3 at night, because he’s at risk of congenital heart failure. Ian is able to give Winnie his medications and dinner after walking him. It puts a lot of ease on me knowing that my baby is well taken care of. Ian always sends me rover cards, which I didn’t even know existed until he started watching Winnie. Every time he comes he walks Winnie for about 30 minutes and even takes pics so I can see him. As well as writes a little report card about what they did that day. I always look forward to the rover card, it’s my favorite thing. I’m in the BFA acting program in school, so a lot of days I’m at school for 12 hours or more. It helps put my mind at ease to know that my pups is well taken care of. It’s really important to me that Winnie continues with socialization since he has also been fearful of other dogs and I have worked hard on him even being okay in the vicinity of them. So Ian will take him to the dog park in my neighborhood as I would or even bring his dog. Overall Ian is the best. Winnie and I both love him!
Ian is a very kind and caring sitter. I can rely on Ian to provide what my dog needs, and to follow my dog’s daily routine. He sends updates frequently and asked questions about my dog’s preferences for walks (if he’s dog friendly or shy) so he can figure out where to bring him and what type of play time Ein can have. I was very happy to have Ein in Ian’s care.
Ian is a wonderful dog sitter. My dog Dobby is a handful and he does so well with him and my dog absolutely loves him. Would definitely recommend Ian to anyone wanting a reliable dog sitter who is great with pets.
