I like big dogs and I cannot lie

Pet care experience

First thing you should know about me is that I have yet to meet a dog or cat I haven't liked. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and I am on Rover to try to make new furry friends and hopefully your animals(s) will be one of them! I've been pet/house sitting for family and friends for years and recently moved back to Boise and would love to spend more time with some furry Bosie residents. In the past, I've had experience with care-taking for old (e.g. 15+ years old) and young (e.g. 4 months old) dogs as well as big (e.g. bernese mountain dogs) and small (e.g. doxens). In these roles I have gain the experience and knowledge to take care of even the most challenging/stubborn of dogs and feel prepared to take on whatever challenges future dogs may present. In particular I have ample experience with potty training schedules, managing daily medicine needs, following a dog training program, and working to increase wanted behaviors/decrease problem behaviors with all sorts of pups. Since I have a flexible job I'd love nothing more than to take care of your pup when I am free! I currently live with a wild but loving golden retriever and a playful doxen whose paralyzed and have lots of current experience care-taking and dog walking with these two. However, these pups have got their own owners so I've always got more time and love to give to other dogs in Boise! Here are a list of traits that I embody that make me a great choice for you and your dog: * Enthusiastic * Active lifestyle * Playful * Patient with even wildest of animals (and people) * Hardworking * Great communicator * Punctual * Medical background as a Wilderness EMT If you have more questions about my experience or services please feel free to reach out!

Hunter is a tremendous dog/house sitter! She stayed at our house for two weeks and made sure our border collie had plenty of exercise, love, and companionship. Our dog was happy and calm on our return and not worried or stressed as has sometimes happened when we have left her before. Hunter is an active young runner who loves the outdoors. She will ensure your active dog gets plenty of exercise, and your older or injured dog gets the loving care it needs. Very respectful, kind, responsible and conscientious. Highly recommend.

Hunter is a phenomenal dog sitter! She took care of my 3 year old border collie, Oliver, for three weeks and I was highly impressed with her work. Hunter has the energy to keep up with rambunctious pups and the exact kind of warm and empathetic soul that you want to entrust your beloved pet to. She texted me pictures of Oliver at the park, kept me updated about his wellbeing, and left my home clean and cozy. Simply put, I highly recommend Hunter as a dog sitter!

Hunter is a hard-working, responsible, and prompt dog sitter! She always brought my 2 poodles back tuckered out and happy! I can't say enough praise--she is a joy to be around and also wonderful with animals. She was consistent and an excellent communicator, which put me at ease. I would highly recommend her for anyone in need of pet sitting!

Was there ever a more responsible and loving dog caregiver? Hunter's name says it all. "H" is for happy, humble, human, and hugs. "U" is for understanding. If your beloved pup is having a tough day, Hunter's there for a hug. If your sweet Rover is feeling feisty, Hunter's ready to rally. Look out, you and your doggo might have just found their new best friend. "N" is for nice and necessary to have in your life. "T" is for terrific, tender, and THE best dog caregiver you ever did find. "E" is for excellent in all things dog caregiving. "R" is for Rover. All that's missing is you.

I grew up with big dogs and have a special weak spot for them but I am more than happy to walk/care for all kinds of dogs! However, I will want to know if the dog has any aggression issues before coming over to play.

A typical day

Running, playing fetch, tummy rubs, leisurely strolls... you name it! I'm happy to do any kind of activities your dogs wants.
