Hello, My name is Hunter Nix and I am a student in the Boulder area attending Front Range Community College. I have grown up with dogs all my life. When I was younger my grandfather owned a veterinary practice. It was here where I first had my exposure to dogs and pets alike. It was my job to do everything from clean the kennels to feeding the animals. I always loved being with pets, with dogs being my personal favorite animal to tend to and and spend time with. As I aged and my grandfathers practice was sold, I took up several jobs at Doggy cares day cares to fill the void of working in the veterinary practice. I became an avid dog walker for my mothers pets, and for the neighborhoods pets, as I was still in middle school and had plenty of extra time to ensure my neighbors fuzzy companions got in their excercise. Fast forwarding to 2017 In the last year since moving to boulder from Georgia I have dog-sit frequently for my family and friends, taking their canine companions on various hikes and adventures, going everywhere from the dog park down the street, up the Flat Irons, and even Horse-tooth Reservoir. I figured it would be a great opportunity to start offering the same service to my community's pets. My schedule is fairly flexible, school is a priority so I can only take of and walk so many pets at one time. But I will do everything I can to ensure the fuzzy friends I do walk and take care of are treated like doggy royalty.
