Hi pet parent! My name is Hunter, and I am a lifelong animal person. I have been around animals of all kinds since I was young. My background includes active military, where I served in military police, and some experience with K9. As a skilled pet care provider, my foundation is built on formal education and hands-on care. I earned a degree in Animal Science and have dedicated years to animal rescue work and five years as a Veterinary Technician. My experience as a vet tech has prepared me for: * Medications & Injections- we can find a creative, low-stress way if they are resistant * Health Monitoring- keenly observing appetite, hydration, and potty breaks * Diet & Conditions- strong understanding of various diseases, complex conditions, and strict dietary/food restrictions I prioritize your pet`s emotional well-being using fear-free handling techniques. I deeply respect animal behavior and always observe boundaries to minimize stress. I also like to focus on enrichment, ensuring your pet receives both engaging mental stimulation and physical exercise. Building a bond is key- and yes, so are the snuggles! *Fun facts about me* *I have my own rescue child, Cooper, who is the highlight of my day. I was currently working at an animal shelter when he came in with his litter from a not-so-good situation. I asked for a sleepover, and I never brought him back. :) *My love for high-energy dogs was solidified during a dog sledding tour in Coldfoot, Alaska! I got to meet and snuggle the entire team of huskies (photo in gallery!) and witnessed firsthand their incredible drive and passion for running. * Committed gym-goer here! My love for health and fitness ensures your pet gets active care. I believe in making a healthy life a priority for all of us! * Gaining invaluable skills in surgery and dental work during my time as a vet tech. My favorite part, however? The recovery cuddles!

This is a vital step for us to: * Confirm it`s a great fit for all of us * Discuss your pet`s exact routine, needs, and boundaries * Allow your pet to get comfortable with me before the booking begins I know how much you will miss them! Communication is key for excellent pet care- the more details you provide, the better. I will treat your pet just like they are my own, providing regular updates, including photos and videos. You can relax knowing they are happy and well-cared for. You can trust that I will respect your space entirely, treating your home with the utmost care, ensuring I leave it just as clean and tidy as I found it.

Hunter is fantastic, very professional, reliable, communicates well and always punctual. My baby really enjoys walks with her, and she has a way of making you feel completely at ease and safe.
Hunter was truly our saving grace this week. My husband was out of town and my schedule as a resident was nonstop, and she stepped in without hesitation to take amazing care of our dog. On top of that, she even offered to come by again later in the day on very short notice when I needed extra help, which meant so much. You can tell she genuinely cares about what she does. It’s clear from the thoughtful updates and photos she sends, and honestly, my dog looks so happy and comfortable with her. That peace of mind is priceless. I’m incredibly grateful we found Hunter. I will absolutely be booking her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter.

Hunter is awesome with my dog. She gets very excited when she comes over. She is on time and has good communication skills. I recently moved and she communicated wonderfully when she had issues getting into the new place - absolutely wonderful!
Hunter was excellent with our cat Darwin! He warmed right up to her and she was very responsive and informative- providing lots of pictures to make us feel at ease! She was also flexible when we had difficulties on our end! Will book again!
