Pet care experience
I use to work at humane society as an animal care giver. . I have experience in clicker training. I have worked with a lot of different breeds. I have knowledge of dogs behavior and stressers. I have a dog of my own and working with animals is something i enjoy. While working at the shelter i was in a program called shelter scholars. In shelter scholars I was assigned a dog that needed extra help to thrive in the shelter environment. I would work with them one on one everyday providing extra enrichment. I do all I can to make sure the your furry friend is happy while you are away. I used to work at Friendship hospital for animals a 24hr emergency hospital. I was triaging pets based on medical history etc via phone, giving out general medical advice. I am now in business for myself making handmade products. I choose to do rover because my love and passion for working with animals will never go away.

Hunter took care of my two cats over the holidays and I couldn't be happier with the job she did. Unlike typical cats, mine do not do well with being left alone for long periods of time with a pile of dry food. They need human attention -- both cuddles and play -- and portion control. Hunter gave me updates including photos for every visit and I could tell that my cats were their usual selves. When I got home they were very happy to see me, but not nearly as needy as is typical when I return from trips. Rover is very dog-focused (obviously), so I was very happy to find such a good sitter. I highly recommend Hunter and her cat services. She obviously really loves animals, and I will definitely book her again next time I'm in need of a sitter.
We had a great experience with Hunter taking care of our pitbull-mix, Isis, over the holiday break. Our usual kennel was booked solid, so we turned to Rover in a pinch. We signed up for several days of drop-in care, where the sitter would come to our home to feed, water and walk our dog. When Hunter came by our home to meet Isis, I knew that everything would be fine. She had a great manner with our dog and Isis took to her right away. While we were gone, Hunter checked in with us every day via the Rover app and we saw the pictures of them walking around the neighborhood. Everything was in place when we returned. We would not hesitate to book with Hunter and the Rover.com service again in the future.
I work with Hunter at the Washington Humane Society. She is an amazing caregiver to both the dogs and cats. She treats every animal as if it was her own. I would definitely recommend Hunter to watch your animals!
