Pet care experience
I work from home, and have a flexible weekday schedule, just steps from Logan Circle. My apartment is on the parlor level, one flight of stairs up to the bay window for squirrel-watching sun-napping . I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I specialize in Boxers, Goldens, Labs and St. Bernards and other big pups. I love having dogs in the house, to help with conference call cuddles, but can also walk to a neighbor’s house for a midday check in for pooches who prefer their own space. I have a pretty actively lifestyle so if your pooch needs daily exercise, I am definitely able to get in a few extra walks that are more brisk! I have experience caring for older Boxers and younger pups as well.

My sweet, reticent coonhound, Betty, loves visiting her daytime caretaker friend, Hunter. He takes great care of her while I'm at work -- such great care, in fact, that she leads me to his house on the weekends.

Hunter is quite simply the best caregiver for your fur-baby that you could ever imagine! He is responsible, responsive, and takes your personal training style into consideration when caring for your animal. He has cared for my golden retriever puppy on numerous occasions, who is now eight months and quite the handful. He genuinely loves your dog and leads an active lifestyle that is a perfect compliment to walks with our furry friends. I'm so lucky that I found Hunter!
We had a great experience with Hunter watching our dog Koa (doggy day care) while we were both at work. It's clear that Hunter loves dogs. He seemed truly excited to get to spend the day with her. Koa felt very comfortable with him and at his place. This was a big relief for us as we haven't left her alone more than a handful of times since she was adopted. He sent along some very cute pictures of her snuggling with him which was much appreciated to put us at ease. He was also laid back and flexible with the pick up and drop off times which made our life easier. We definitely hope to get to work with Hunter again to watch Koa in the future. It was a great experience.
