Dogs have always been an important part of my life. My dogs have been among my best friends throughout my childhood and adult life. I have many years of experience caring for dogs in all stages of life, as I've cared for my own from the time they were puppies through old age. I believe that dogs enrich our lives in so many ways, and deserve all the best that we can give them in return. My partner, Katya, and I share a home with our 5-year-old yellow lab, Riot. We would love to welcome your dog into our home and would treat him/her like our own. I also enjoy being active and spending time outdoors with my dog, whether it's going for a walk or a run, or playing fetch. We would love to include your dog in on the fun as well.

Hunter has watched our labrador, Diesel, on a number of occasions. Diesel is always so excited to see Hunter. We have complete trust in Hunter watching Diesel while we travel. It’s apparent that Hunter has a genuine love for dogs. Diesel must have a great time since it seems he’d rather stay with Hunter than come home.

I don't have any breed preferences. I generally love all dogs. However, the more detailed care instructions you can provide the better. I know how uncomfortable it can be to leave your dog with someone you don't know very well, and I want to assure you that your dog will be cared for according to your wishes and treated with the utmost love and respect. Also, when we've used boarding services through Rover.com for Riot it's been a great reassurance to be able to meet with potential sitters in advance to make sure everything seemed like the right fit. I'd be happy to meet with you also to make sure you and your dog are comfortable before their stay.
A typical day
Some of our favorite places to go for walks are along the coastal trail or the Campbell Creek trail system, both of which are easily accessible from our home. We also enjoy spending time at Connor's Bog dog park, or just playing fetch in our large backyard, which has plenty of open space for throwing a frisbee or a ball.
