Pet care experience
I grew up with big and small dogs and have always loved different species of animals. If not immediately, with time a loyal dog and cat are bound to warm up and head to me for love. It never fails. I respect their space and boundaries and reinforce what you have taught them once they’re comfortable(great if you’re teaching them new tricks and/or potty training pups). I believe space is more than likely the answer as our little ones need time to observe and follow their intuition in a calm environment. I have done in-house sits (for people home often but work unpredictable hours), drop ins, and full house sits for big to small cats and dogs. Hūghniq has a deep love for all living things. Animals are drawn to her because of her nurturing and calm energy. She has warmed my antisocial Rottweiler into her best bud. He gets excited when he sees her and I can tell he really loves her. She is trust worthy, reliable, and flexible.

I keep the pets protected by keeping everything as my client left it, scanning for any possible hazards, and checking in with client if I see something out of the ordinary or needing adjustment on security. The main thing I ask of clients is please let me know your dogs personality as best as you can and how they’re expected to be cared for(medication, frantic behavior, playfully aggressive, etc). Also, if I am house sitting and you need additional cleaning services, please message me and I’ll be sure to assist you on how we can create a cleaner environment and pricing. Anxiety will veer in clearer space, for you and your little friend. I’m here to make things easier and more fun! :) I have additional reviews on TrustedHouseSitters. I have experience caring for fatally ill dogs. If your dog or cat needs medicine please inform me on the best way you find suitable. Time(s) as well as if a treat can/should accompany it is also very helpful. As we know and in my experience, they do better when they feel they’re being rewarded for good behavior.
A typical day
I like to stay active and find that dogs can help keep me on track. Running, playing ball, hide and seek, “find the treats”, tug-a-war and whatever game they like to play.
