Ready for anything your dog needs!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Hudson, and I’m a medical student here at MUSC. I chose to become a Rover walker/sitter because I love all things dog-related and it gives me a great excuse for study breaks! I have grown up around dogs my entire life, so I’m prepared for any size, breed, or activity. I am originally from the upstate of SC, and all throughout middle and high school I took care of local neighborhoods dogs whenever I had the chance. I am also a Wag! Walker, so I have had ample experience getting to know and take care of new dogs. Although I love getting to wrestle with bigger dogs, my first dogs growing up were Cairn Terriers and Boston Terriers, so the smaller dogs are special to me as well! If you want exercise, then any dog that I care for can expect as much activity as they can tolerate, as I enjoy the fresh air just as much as the dogs do. However, if your dog is older or needs less activity, then they can expect plenty of belly rubs and hanging out inside with me as well. I promise that your dog(s) will not be bored or ignored under my care, and I’m sure you’ll find them even happier once you get home. I hope I get a chance to meet your dog(s) soon!

Hudson took such good care of our dog and cat! He agreed to be on call to care for them when I went into labor with my son. He was very reliable and responsive, and in such an exciting but hectic time it was so great to have one less thing to worry about while we were gone! Definitely recommend.

To whom it may concern, Hudson Bridges has been nothing short of an exceptional pet owner and pet caregiver. For many years, Hudson was a close neighbor whom I frequently called on to look after my 2 dogs. My dogs are of vast importantance to me and it's imperative that I have someone reliable to take care of them, when I travel frequently for work. One of my animals (Darius) has several health conditions and requires very attentive care and needs to be administered a variety of medications. Hudson has done a phenonmenal job taking care of Darius and he has taken the time to develop a great relationship with Darius that's based off trust - something Darius needs to be cooperative. Hudson will make a tremendous reprentative for your service.

To whom it may concern, Hudson B. has been my pet sitter for approximately a year now. He is professional, trustworthy, generous, and most importantly, compassionate and loving with my dog. I travel extensively in my professional life and I’ve always felt calm and secure knowing Hudson was watching over my sweet boy. He is responsible and very accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a loving animal care giver. Sincerely, Eden M.

Information Hudson B. would like to know about your pet

Although I do not have any breed preferences, I would love to know if your dog has any specific triggers that will scare them or make them aggressive. I also would like to know how well trained your dog is with simple commands, putting on collars and leashes, and how well they respond or don’t respond to using treats.

A typical day

Any dog that stays with me can expect lots of activities! I love to play fetch with dogs and I have a ball thrower and plenty of space the let the dogs run. We also have a large doggy park in my apartment complex that I can take the dogs to as well. I love taking dogs on walks, and if possible, on jogs as well. Back inside the apartment, the dogs will get tons of attention, playing with toys, and being pet constantly. I assure you that you dog will have a great time!
