I have been a volunteer at the Berkeley Animal Care Services animal shelter for 2 years, and absolutely love interacting with the dogs and cats there. I’m a runner who ran cross country and track in high school and I would love to take your dog on a run if you and your dog would like that. I also grew up with pets and currently have a dog and cat at home.

I had an unexpected time crunch, and I needed someone to walk my dog while I was away from home for 7 hours. Huckleberry was dependable and capable, and my dog clearly enjoyed being with him. Definitely recommend him.
We were so pleased with Huckleberry's care of our twelve year old pittie, Rico. He was very kind, sensitive, and deeply attuned to Rico's needs. Rico bonded with him right away.He also was very timely and responsible, and asked if we had specific house rules that we wanted him to follow. We will definitely ask him to sit for Rico again.
Huck was on time, efficient, and made my dog very happy. Will definitely use him again.

Any specific needs of a pet would be nice to know ahead of time. Whether or not the I would be taking your dog on a run would be good to know as well. Other than that most things can be discussed at your convenience.
A typical day
On a typical day with your pet I will play with them if they like to and pet them if they like the attention. I will take them on an agreed upon amount of walks and runs if you so desire. As a runner I enjoy getting outside and walking or running with dogs. However I also enjoy sitting at home with less active dogs and even cats.

I’m very flexible and able to walk or pet sit when you need me to. I can easily work around your schedule and I’m happy to accommodate what your pet needs. I can do short and long walks, as well as runs, as well as pet sit for any amount of time.
